One thing led to another on the Open Internet1 and I came by this curious and lovely short story by artist Charlie White2 called “The Beatrice Davenport Morands” (cached HTML) who wrote it for Public Fiction magazine in 2013.
Like if Wes Andersen et al wrote The Prestige.
